about the expo

The Long Beach College and Career Expo brings students, families, and industry together for a high-energy, hands-on experience designed to open doors and expand possibilities.
This is a citywide effort to connect students to real opportunities across Long Beach bringing education, training, and career pathways into one space.

In partnership with the City of Long Beach, Long Beach Unified School District, Long Beach College Promise, Mayor Rex Richardson, and local industry leaders, the Expo creates a powerful network of support for students as they explore their future.

At the Expo, students don’t just hear about careers; they experience them. Through interactive, career-based booths, students connect directly with colleges, training programs, and employers across high-growth industries. From hands-on demonstrations to real conversations with professionals, students gain insight, ask meaningful questions, and discover pathways that align with their interests, strengths, and goals.
